Kiln was loaded.
Kiln was bisque fired 9 hrs 30 minutes to get to 999C very slowly to start.
I celebrated with a tasty beer and a tuna an rye roll. The rolls are homemade.

I start with a large double pinch pot.
This is then beaten into shape.
It is then allowed to dry to soft leather hard. The mouth is cut out and shaped, tail, fins and eyes added. Along with details.
Once done it is dried, it is then bisqued and finally glazed and fired.
